Asymtek's commitment to serve their customers well has been evidenced by the 2009 Service Excellence Award from Circuits Assembly -- for the sixth year in a row! This award is based on customer evaluations regarding five areas: dependability, ease of use, responsiveness, technology, and value for price. Asymtek was elected with highest rankings for electronics assembly equipment suppliers in the dispensing category.

New Product Innovation (NPI) Award in the dispensing category - from Circuits Assembly

Our DispenseJet® DJ-100 series of piezo-electric jets was chosen as the leading new dispensing product during the past twelve months by an independent panel of engineers who are presently active in the industry. The judges base their evaluation on: creativity, innovation, compatibility with existing technology, cost-effectiveness, design, environmental impact, expected reliability, expected maintainability/reparability, flexibility, performance, and how user-friendly it is. This award was presented at IPC Apex 2009.

Asymtek Recognized as VCI’s “Partner in Innovation”

Asymtek’s Axiom™ automated dispensing system plays a key role in enabling the high-volume manufacturing capability for a 3D vertical interconnect process, developed by Vertical Circuits Inc. (VCI), a leading supplier of advanced 3D die-level interconnect solutions. VCI recently recognized Asymtek as a “Partner in Innovation.”

SMT China’s 2008 Vision Award

Asymtek’s Spectrum™ S-920N received SMT China’s VISION Award based on criteria that included creativeness and innovativeness, performance, reliability, cost effectiveness, ease of use, flexibility, compatibility, quality of contributions, and environmental responsibility. This is the second year Asymtek received the award. The VISION Award honors world-class suppliers serving the electronics industry in China.

EM Asia 2008 Innovation Award

The Electronics Manufacturing (EM) Asia Innovation Award, sponsored by EM Asia magazine, selected Asymtek’s highly accurate Select Coat SL-940E Series conformal coating system in the dispensing category. The awards recognize and celebrate excellence in the Asian electronics industry, inspiring companies to achieve the highest standards and push the industry forward. Judging was based on innovation and achievement, setting challenging objectives, and outstanding achievement.

Circuits Assembly’s 2008 Service Excellence Award

Asymtek was again awarded the Circuits Assembly “Service Excellence Award” at the IPC/APEX tradeshow, held April 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The awards honor key companies in the electronics industry that excel in service. Asymtek was selected best supplier in the dispensing equipment category, and received the highest cumulative scores based on customer satisfaction ratings in five areas: technology, dependability, responsiveness, ease-of-use, and value for the dollar. This is the fifth time for Asymtek to win this award.

Intel’s Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement Award for 2007

Asymtek was named a recipient of Intel Corporation's prestigious Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) award for the fifth year in a row (2003-2007.) The SCQI is Intel's highest honor for its suppliers, for outstanding commitment to quality and performance by suppliers that provide products and services deemed essential to Intel's success. Asymtek was given the award for its efforts in supplying Intel with automated fluid dispensing equipment.

2007 Global Technology Award

Asymtek received the 2007 Global Technology Award in the Dispensing Equipment category for its SC-400 PreciseCoat™ Conformal Coating Jet.  Sponsored by Global SMT & Packaging magazine, the Global Technology Award recognizes the best new innovations in the printed circuit assembly and packaging industries. The annual award was presented to Asymtek at the Productronica trade show in Munich, Germany on November 13th, 2007. This is the third time Asymtek has won.

Semiconductor International’s Editors’ Choice Best Product Award, 2007

Semiconductor International magazine selected Asymtek’s DispenseJet® DJ-9000 Series as a winner of their Editors’ Choice Award for the Jet’s commercially proven excellence in semiconductor manufacturing. The DispenseJet DJ-9000 valve is a customer-preferred alternative to needle dispensing or printing. Jet dispensing allows denser circuitry to be developed at the package and board level, while offering a greater degree of process control at faster speeds than needle dispensers. This is the second time Asymtek received the award for one of its products.

2007 Advanced Packaging Award

Asymtek received the 2007 Advanced Packaging Award for its SC-400 Precise Coat™ Conformal Coating Jet. The Advanced Packaging Awards honor the products and technologies that have shaped the semiconductor industry over the past year. Entries were judged on innovation, speed/throughput improvements, quality contribution, cost benefits, environmental consideration, ease of use/implementation, and maintainability/repairability. Asymtek received the award at a ceremony during Semicon West in San Francisco, California on July 18.

2007 SMT China VISION Award Dispensing System

Asymtek received a 2007 SMT China VISION Award from SMT China magazine for its Axiom™ X-1022 high-volume dual-lane dispensing system. The Vision Awards recognize the companies and products that serve as benchmarks of excellence within the surface mount industry. Judged by an independent panel of industry experts, Asymtek was selected the winner in the dispensing category.  Evaluations were based on the Axiom system’s overall performance, reliability, economic merits and ease of use. The SMT China VISION award was presented at a ceremony held during Nepcon Shanghai.

2006 Global Technology Award for Dual-Lane Dispensing System

Asymtek received a 2006 Global Technology Award from Global SMT & Packaging magazine for its Axiom™X-1022 high-volume dual-lane dispensing system. This is the second consecutive year that Asymtek has won this award. The Global Technology Awards recognize the best new innovations in the printed circuit assembly and packaging industries. The award was presented at a ceremony held during the Assembly Technology Expo in Rosemont, IL on September 27, 2006.

2006 Editors’ Choice Best Product Award for Semiconductor Manufacturing Excellence

Asymtek received the prestigious Editors’ Choice Best Product Award, presented annually by Semiconductor International magazine, for its Axiom™ dispensing system. At a ceremony on July 12 in San Francisco, CA, Semiconductor International announced 20 winners whose products are making a difference in semiconductor manufacturing.

The Axiom series offers precise, automated dispensing control for in-line semiconductor package and printed circuit board assembly. While highly configurable to meet specific customer requirements, two standard configurations are available for SMT applications and advanced electronics packaging and semiconductor assembly. The Axiom system builds upon Asymtek’s 20-plus years of experience and intellectual property. “We are proud to receive this distinguished award,” states Bob Ciardella, Asymtek President. “Axiom customers were interviewed regarding its importance to their manufacturing processes. Winning the award acknowledges our commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, and continuous improvement."

Asymtek® announces that it has been awarded a Global Technology Award in the dispensing category for its innovative Spectrum™S-820 Series Dispensing System. The first annual awards, sponsored by Global SMT and Packaging magazine, recognize the best new innovations in the printed circuit assembly and packaging industries. Asymtek was awarded SMT Magazine's Vision Award for its Swirl Coat™ SC-300 conformal coating applicator at the IPC/APEX tradeshow February 2004 in Anaheim, CA. The SC-300 applicator, judged best in the dispensing equipment category by a panel of industry experts, was selected for its innovation, ability to meet significant industry challenges, creativity and cost effectiveness. Additionally, the SC-300 was judged on its quality, speed and throughput improvements, ease-of use and environmental responsibility.

2003 EP&P Excellence Award

Each year EP&P recognizes suppliers in the electronics manufacturing industry whose products and services set the standards of quality and innovation all others strive to achieve. The Excellence in Electronic Packaging and Production Award is bestowed upon companies, in 10 separate categories, for products that represent the future of the industry. Asymtek won for its DispenseJet® DJ-2100.

Intel Corporation’s Preferred Quality Supplier Award, 2002

Asymtek was named a recipient of Intel Corporation's Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award for outstanding performance in providing products and services deemed essential to Intel's success. The company was awarded for its efforts in supplying Intel with automated fluid dispensing equipment. Asymtek and 28 additional PQS award winners will be honored at a celebration in Burlingame, Calif., on March 26.

The Axiom™ X-1020 Wins Two Awards: SMT magazine’s “Vision” and Electronic Packaging & Production

In January 2001 at the Apex trade show, SMT Magazine recognized the innovations of supplier companies and their people for the introduction of new products and services for the electronics manufacturing industry at the 2001 VISION Awards program.

Asymtek won the 2001 Vision award in the dispensing equipment category for the Axiom X-1020 dispensing system. Asymtek also won the 2001 Electronic Packaging and Production award for the Axiom X-1020 dispensing system.

DispenseJet® Valve Receives the 1997 Vision System Award

Asymtek's parent company, Nordson, received the 1997 Vision Award for its DJ-2000 DispenseJet ® valve at the 6th annual SMT Vision Awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Surface Mount International trade show in September 1997.

1997 Milton S. Kiver Award in the PCB Assembly Equipment Category

Asymtek was among twenty five finalists selected by a panel of industry experts from hundreds of worldwide entries of commercially available products for the PCB Assembly Equipment and Accessories category. This award was based on our Millennium series which Asymtek introduced at the 1996 NEPCON show.

The 1996 SMT Vision Award

Asymtek is the proud recipient of a 1996 Vision Award for innovative products and services in surface mount technology (SMT) for its new Millennium® Series, an advanced system for dispensing encapsulation and underfill for the emerging advanced IC packaging market. The Vision Award, sponsored by Information Handling Systems (IHS) and SMT magazine, honors those companies whose entries were judged Best New Products” of 1996.

According to Bob Ciardella, President of Asymtek, "The same combination of leading edge technology and process-solving design methods that characterized our development of the Millennium Series dispensing systems and resulted in winning the Vision Award was also an important consideration in Nordson Corporation’s recent acquisition of Asymtek."

1993 Vision Award for the SMA-600 Fluidshooter™

Asymtek received  the 1993 Vision Award from SMT magazine for its SMA-600 Fluidshooter system for surface mount adhesive (SMA) placement. Asymtek’s first DispenseJet technology-based system, the SMA-600 places adhesive dots onto PCBs accurately, consistently and at high speeds.  Because the tightly controlled volume of adhesive is shot from a nozzle positioned about 3.5 mm above the board, the traditional problems of stringing due to warped PCBs are completely eliminated. No valve maintenance is required.
