Asymtek Introduces New Film Frame Wafer Handler for Fluid Dispensing Systems
Carlsbad , CA – Asymtek’s new free-standing wafer handler provides efficient part handling for wafer-level packaging operations, minimizing operator intervention. The fully programmable wafer handler supports film frame wafer sizes from 200 to 300 millimeters. They are SMEMA compatible and specifically designed to work in conjunction with Asymtek’s Century® , Axiom™ and Millennium® in-line dispensing systems. Ergonomically designed with easy access from all sides, the wafer handler can be attached to one side of the dispenser so that the wafer returns to the same cassette, or on either side of the dispenser for pass-through operation from one cassette to the next. The handlers support a variety of industry-standard cassettes.
Asymtek’s LoaderMove™ software allows programs to be easily created and modified. Multiple programs can be stored in a single handler for quick product changeover, maximizing product uptime. The universal load port simplifies the loading and unloading of film frame wafer cassettes, thereby reducing the chance of damage due to mishandling. In a few easy steps, the handler securely attaches to the dispenser for precise alignment and error-free transport of the wafers.
