Coating: Flow Monitoring
Asymtek's Flow Monitor module aids in closing the dispensing loop
for conformal coating. It is designed for use with the Century® C-740
series selective conformal coating platforms, equipped with either
the Swirl Coat®
or SC-205 Film Coater module. The Flow
Monitor module monitors the volume of material dispensed on a product
against an established target. Easy
Coat®
for Windows NT®
(ECNT) software logs all data (amount of material dispensed) to
a log file and database. The data is displayed on the computer screen
in bar graph format with time history.
Features - Flow
monitoring confirms that products have been coated with the correct amount of
material with a resolution of ± 0.05cc
- The
system triggers an alarm condition when dispensed volume is out of range, allowing
the operator to make adjustments to prevent possible defective products
- Stainless
steel construction ensures the Flow Monitor module is compatible with all conformal
coating materials
